Are you excited and also unsure about reclaiming your normalcy in the coming months?

We are rolling out a 21 Day Retreat to help all of us with getting back to our best self, and moving forward!  It is free and includes daily well-being topics and easy action ideas to help you gain additional insights into your own self-care.  No pressure to do everything - this is self-paced.  Do some of the days real-time, and save others for another day when it fits your schedule better.  15-30 minutes a day is suggested (with several restorative days!).

REGISTRATION
Begins Thursday March 25, 2021

And each week, several thoughtful (and optional) 45 minute interactive Zoom opportunities with introductory mindfulness and guided meditation, creative expression sessions, easy spring gardening ideas, and healing touch guidance will be available.  Also, several special Forest Bathing days at Wind River just for you and your family! Hopefully by the end of the 21 days, you have a sense of renewal, and be wide open to NEW BEGINNINGS.

So say YES and get back to You by moving forward!

Wind River's newest tailored retreat!

We are hosting a special virtual weekend retreat April 16th - 18th for  "super" survivors like yourself, that are living with more advanced cancers including multiple recurrences.

Our intention is CONNECTION, with creative ways to express our stories and share with others.  Listening, support, and of course laughter, are the main goals.  This retreat will be an intimate group size.

Participation in ALL events is important. They allow you to be a working survivor,   Times are listed on the APPLICATION.

And a wellness goody package with everything you will need for the retreat will be mailed to your home in advance! So we invite you to carve out time for yourself during this weekend for the total experience.

DOPE SH#T
(yes, there is profanity in this link but it is artfully used!)

Wind River Alum, Maha Adachi, whose other name is, yes, Hope, gains strength and personal insights through poetry.   A working mother of three, wife, and much more, this piece was written and performed in October 2020, between her 2nd and 3rd breast cancer related surgery,  As many of us can attest too, we often have to dig deep to find ourselves and move through the many pains that cancer can bring,   Maha shares

"I was blessed with the opportunity to participate in the @speakuppoetryseries and share a poem. This is what "showing up and doing your best even when you don't feel your best" looks like. This moment helped me reconnect with myself without the weight of breast cancer anchoring me to the healing sanctuary of my bed. For a brief moment I got to forget the pain, treatments, surgeries and medication."

Poem:
Dope Sh!t
Written and Performed by: Maha Adachi
Inspired by music created by my fam: Kenyatta Houston
MUA: Milly Millz
Hair: God

If you wish to to connect with Maha feel free to share a note with Shannon and we'll get you connected!  She's is a wonderful authentic and inspiring woman!
