This holiday season a member of the Caped Crusaders 4 Cures team, (a top fundraising team at 24 Hours of Booty) shared the Wind River story with an artist friend who has now donated over 100 original pieces of art, including the one enclosed here for you!
When we spoke with the artist, Raissa Urdiales, there was an immediate connection with the messages behind her art and Wind River. We both love being surrounded by nature, taking time out of a busy schedule for the things we love to do (Raissa paints every day before going to work to calm her mind), and connecting with others in a meaningful way.
Special thank you to Caped Crusaders 4 Cures for covering the cost of this mailing!
“I paint mountains thinking of their majestic beauty that has taken millions of years to create. I paint trees thinking of the cycle of life that they represent as they are reborn, grow, shed, and rest through each season. It's what frees me from the technology that has taken over our world.” – Raissa Urdiales |
