2011 Wind River Highlights

• Hosted 4 Cancer Wellness Retreats
• Hosted our first Heathcare Provider Retreatfor oncology social workers and nurses
• Hosted 5 Recovery Retreats for survivors healing from surgery and treatments
• Panelist on Integrative Medicine at NC Cancer Survivorship Summit
• Held Stress-Less Workshops at numerous regional support groups & conferences
• Piloted a new Program:                                               Pre-surgery One-on-One support calls
• Held first large fundraising event:               Spread Your Wings, Music Benefit & Silent Auction for Wind River as hosted by retreat alum and her husband, Missi Ivie and Bob Graham!

In addition, we had two major volunteer work days, began recording work on a Healing CD, provided booths at 24 Hours of Booty and two Cancer Conferences, held an "in memory of" candle lighting ceremony, added property signage, redesigned our website, made construction improvements, and more!
