Since 2007 Wind River has provided cancer survivors a tranquil place to slow down, spend time in nature, meet other survivors and learn ways to reduce stress and live happier, healthier lives. All free of charge to survivors. Each Retreat is unique, with a blend of:- Daily body movement (like Tai Chi, Qi Gong, gentle Yoga or light hikes)
- Workshops designed to help you explore your cancer experience
- and sharing stories and laughter with others on this journey
Plus art, music, hammock time, bon fires and listening to the sounds of the creek and nearby waterfall. Retreats are offered from our log home in a rustic and wooded area. Participants must be able to maneuver the equivalent of 3 flights of stairs and walk on sloped gravel pathways.
